And the end is here.

I spent my last two days in Valencia just walking around again. I went to the city centre and on top of the Cathedral to see the whole town for the final time.

Even writing about it is bringing me to tears. It's so surreal. I feel like I am leaving my whole life behind. It's such an odd feeling.

I have my flight in the morning.. I haven't really slept all night because my flight is pretty early and I was packing for the most of it anyway.

I am so so grateful for what this city has given to me - the friends, the memories, the most amazing moments, so much joy and so many experiences. I will cherish all of it for as long as I can.

I know for a fact that I will never forget you Valencia. I love you and you have been amazing.

Hasta Luego..

It's time.

Barcelona was awesome, again. It was really good going back and I am glad I went because I was a bit unsure at first. We met up with Molly's friend for dinner and stayed with her for the night. The next day Molly had to do stuff for her internship so we went to her company building - it was really cool actually. If I was to compare it to anything I would compare it to Canary Wharf. And obviously, I hadn't seen that side of Barcelona because it wasn't really touristy so it was pretty good that I went. Although, it was a mission finding a place to eat around there!

The end is nearer..

I'm going to Barcelona in two days and am going to be pretty busy after that so I may be slacking with my posts! Sorry :( But OMG I am so excited for the next two weeks but am also unbelievably upset :'( I do not even want to think about the fact that I don't have much more time here in Valencia. I really cannot believe it! But the fact that Aga left a few days ago is still processing - I just don't even want to deal with it :/ She has been with me from day 1 too, just like Karol - we all actually met in the same class. This girl has literally been with me through thick and thin this half year and I will never forget the times and memories I have with her. I will most definitely be seeing her in Poland soon!

The end is near

So, Ramadhan started a few days ago and this heat, I swear is too much! I haven't been up to much lately though, except just packing! I decided to move in with Molly, Lucy and Bianca for the last month just because one or two of their flatmates moved out and I just felt like staying closer to friends for my last month. So I moved in a couple of days ago! Marie left the day I moved in and I swear I am hating these goodbyes! I love that girl she is the sweetest thing :) I am sure I will see her again soon as Paris isn't that far from me! I am so so grateful for meeting such amazing people here from so many different cultures I cannot even put it into words! Aga is leaving tomorrow :( I don't even want to think about it so I'm gonna stop talking about it and will deal with it when the time comes!

Karol's gone :(

It was so hard saying bye to Karol. She has literally been by my side since day one and I cannot imagine my Valencian experience without her. I know for a fact that it wont be the same and although our friendship has such a great bond I won't get to see her everyday like I do here. But hopefully I will visit her in Croatia and she can come to London but of course that is easier said than done. I am so glad Aga is still here though :) but she is leaving before me as well. I did, however, get a phone though. Thank God for Karol, I bought hers before she left. It's only a mini Samsung one but it will do! I went a the Daddy Yankee concert with Kayla, Aga and Roel - it was pretty good but he took SO long to come on and it was too packed! The heat was absolutely killing me! But I am so glad I got to see him because I am obsessed obsessed obsessed with his song 'Limbo' so those of you who haven't heard it.. do so now ;) oh, and it's in Spanish ofcourse! I also went to Noche de San Juan which is on the 23rd of June every year. It is basically just a bonfire on the beach. I swear I have never seen so so many people on a beach once. Everyone was just having fun with food and drinks and just socialising basically. It was great!

FIFA

The FIFA world cup started a few days ago (as I'm sure you all know) and I have to say it is absolutely amazing watching the games here, I am so so sooo glad I am here for it. There are so many exchange students from all around the world and because they are all supporting their country it just creates this amazing atmosphere which I am sure I could not have witnessed in England! We've been going to most of the games, even if our countries aren't playing because its such good fun! Basically, what most pubs have done is create like an outdoor cinema kind of thingy with a projector and they have put seats outside. In most of the streets now, all you can hear is cheering, Its absolutely amazing I can't explain it. I wasn't that excited about the world cup but I am definitely looking forward to it now! However, one thing I am not excited about is losing my phone. Yes, it got stolen! :( Trust me, the pickpockets here are experts - I am actually surprised it has taken this long! lol. It is pretty frustrating without a phone but because I am with most of my friends all day anyway I don't really feel it that much. Hopefully I will sort something out soon. Hopefully.

I don't want to leave.

So as I have no more studying to do and no more classes or uni, all I do is go out with friends and spend my money :D I am so glad I have been working this whole time otherwise I would not have this extra cash to spend! My last day was actually a few days ago and it was actually a really good opportunity and I learnt so much from it. It was a little tricky of course but I am working in Spain, there was always going to be the language barrier. I went out with Lucy and a couple others this week; she had a friend from England come and stay and Amy also came out, hadn't seen her in ages! Lucy also introduced me to some Spanish people. It really nice getting to know more local people because it is just more fun and Spanish people know how to PARTAAYY! I spent a lot of time with Karol this week, we went to Turia, had Horchata (which she did not like LOL) and literally just walked around Valencia. We have made so many memories here its unbelievable. I feel like I have lived here for much longer than just a couple of months and it definitely does not feel like I have only known Karol for a few months - we have such a great friendship and I am so so sure that we will be life long friends. She is a keeper ;) I really cannot imagine leaving Valencia. At least not now.
